Each of us has an inherent tendency towards one or more of these principles, this explains why each responds so differently to the same stimuli. Some of us are more earthly in nature, while others are clearly more fiery or lighter. We are all born with our particular balance of doshas, which corresponds to our body constitution ??? mind and remains unchanged throughout life. The predominant dosha or doshas determines our physical, mental and emotional tendencies and our predisposition to suffer from certain health problems. We generally have a predominance of one or two doshas in our constitution. Our Prakruti constitution is determined at the time of conception. When these principles are circulating in the body-mind physiology in the right proportion, we feel healthy and happy, all the functions of our body work in harmony with each other. To determine which of the three doshas, vata pitta and kapha, predominates in your constitution, we can use a questionnaire that helps us to be determined, as our original constitution, or prakruti
It is said that, our original constitution is determined at the moment of conception, and reflects our physical qualities, mental and emotional
In the initial comments of this video we can find a link which takes us directly to the questionnaire, which we can fill in by thinking i
e
, establishing a mental state, in which, we think how we have been most of our life, when we answer this questionnaire, we try to think in those qualities, which really predominate in us either on the physical, mental level or emotional
And at the end, let's add up and the beginning which has the highest score, is the principle which predominates in your constitution
There is a second part of the questionnaire called vikruti, and it corresponds to the present state of these principles, in our physiology
The doshas, are principles, are humors that tend to imbalance, due to lifestyle inadequate, due to let's say not very healthy choices in terms of our food, or, a emotions that we experience as anger, fear
Or when we react to the loss of a loved one, or an important change in our life, for these moods, these doshas, tend to become unbalanced
So, in the second part of the questionnaire, we can discover, what is our state of current imbalance, and in this case, the state of mind must be different, we must think at the last few weeks or maybe the last couple of months, how we've been feeling and from there, we can see which of these principles has become unbalanced in our constitution
In a general way, when we think of how to balance, vata, pitta and kapha in the constitution, there is a resource which allows us to use the senses to balance the mind and to balance the body
When we do the second questionnaire, the vikruti, it can be that the imbalance that it gives us in the mind is different from the imbalance, the imbalanced dosha that we have in the body, then general love, we will use the senses that are from the nose up, to balance the mind, let's say smell, sight and hearing, help us to balance, because the imbalances of vata, pitta and kapha that we may have in the mind
From the nose down, more like the mouth and the skin, well, the sense of touch, well, they help us to balance the body through the aromas, the images and the sounds we will balance the mind and through food, massages and the use of oils, teas and herbs specials, because we are going to help balance the body
An example, very frequent in our days of imbalance, of these principles, in the mind, is the imbalance of the vata principle, because nowadays we have a lot of stimulus from our environment, we have a lot of information to digest, and let's say that it tends to alter the principle of movement, the vata principle
with the fluctuation of thoughts in the mind
You can discover what is your main docha and what the current imbalance is, in the questionnaires found on the conscious television page
These questionnaires will help you especially to determine which is your main dosha and from there, it is recommended to use the diet, the aromas and the routines that we can see in other videos, to balance mainly your dosha, the dosha that governs your body-mind constitution
