24 Synchronize with nature

Description     More info

Connecting with nature means putting aside the belief that we are so important, almost divine, and realizing once and for all that we are human, belonging, like animals, to this world that we understand little but that has a established natural order and what it is, whether we like it or not. We have to start embracing our own biology, what the body asks of us, abandon our self-imposed obligations and begin to enjoy more of what we are passionate about, of our nature.

We are one, with the rhythm, with the rhythms of nature

When we align our rhythms interns, with the rhythms of nature, we create welfare and balance for our body and for our mind

So much in nature as well as in our inner self, we operate through periods of rest and activity, rest and activity

If we think for a moment, you probably realize that you do not experience the same vitality or the same quality of energy, in a linear fashion throughout the day, there are highs and lows, there are moments in the day when that we feel with greater energy, with greater clarity mental and there are other times of the day, in which we feel lower, we need maybe, take a break, but it is said that we westerners carry our gods

on our wrists, because continuously we are guided by habits or by situations that we do not are imposed in our environment, but we do not listen to our inner signals

It is of vital importance to learn to listen to the signals, especially the signals that we our body sends us, and are easy to define, from distinguish, because our body continuously is communicating with us, through signals of comfort or discomfort

Perfectly if we observe how we are feeling, we know if we have energy, if we want to follow moving in that direction or if we should stop, rest

But many times, we don't respect especially the rest periods, we think we have to keep giving more and more, that we have to have a coffee to enliven energy again, but really what we need at that moment is to rest

and sometimes when we give the body a little rest, it doesn't have to be a break of one hour, maybe ten minutes, fifteen

Well, we can get the power back on, and come back to vitality, to movement, to activity

Likewise, in nature we can observe cycles, for example, the sun is born in daylight, i

e

, dawn, then it has its strongest peak at noon and then in the afternoon, it's already decreasing, its light is diminishing

We have several cycles in the nature, the cycle of days and nights, the cycles of the seasons, the lunar cycles, and these cycles also exert an influence on us as individuals

Also throughout the day, when we relate with the doshas, there are times when it is said, that these doshas rule

Of two to six o'clock in the morning, the vata dosha; are those qualities that we go into the nature, that there is a vitality, there is a very gentle movement that is barely perceptible, but is very favorable, especially in the dawn hours, to get up, get up with the light of day and benefit from those morning qualities, it's a good time to perform the meditation

Then we have the kapha cycle, which goes from six o'clock in the morning, to ten o'clock in the morning, and in this period of time we are already a little bit more awake, we can realize exercises and start with our activity of the day, for to activate these qualities of kapha

Then between ten o'clock and two o'clock in the afternoon pitta rules, this means, that in our internal fire is much stronger, our ability to digest food, is very powerful in correspondence with the hours of the day, when the sun shines the brightest, hence we should take the largest, most abundant meal of the day, at noon, because in our organism is more prepared to digest it

Then between two and six o'clock in the afternoon, vata returns to rule, and it is also a timetable already around six-seven o'clock in the evening, favorable for meditation, when we finish the work of the day, before having dinner, that's a good time

to meditate

Between six o'clock and ten o'clock at night, kapha rules again, and among the ten and two o'clock of the morning, rules again pitta

An ideal daily routine, would be that we get up at dawn, preferably without the use of the alarm clock, we get up with the daylight, it is beneficial to leave the curtains ajar and to allow the light, the awakening of the day, awaken us and wake us up with that gentle rhythm, which progressively awakens the activity of the day

Then, it is a good moment as we said, to make our meditation, or to go out to make a walk in the morning and contact with nature, at that moment, the flowers are opening, they are waking up, we can hear the sound of the birds, all these sounds, these images visuals, the scent of the flowers, are beneficial to our physiology

As part of the morning routine, it is also recommended that you do some stretching, may be some short yoga routine, some exercise of breathing that helps us to activate the inner energy

We can look at the status of our tongue, we already know that for Ayurveda, it is an organ very important, to check the tongue, because when we have the tongue cover with that white coating that we get, it means that we are not digesting well, that accumulating toxins, and then we can use a "scrapper"

it's a metal rod, that helps us to clean and remove the residues from the tongue

Only if you have appetite, if you feel hungry, then you can take a breakfast light in the morning, and get ready for the day's activity

Then, come midday, as we had said before, it is a good time to take the largest meal of the day, thanks to the fact that our digestive fire is very strong, in correspondence with the sunlight, the hour in which it burns the strongest

Then in the afternoon, we continue our afternoon activity, after lunch, it is important to take the food with attention, pay attention to the foods that we eat, to the preparation of the food we eat, and after eating, we can take five minutes, to allow the food to settle, to also tell our stomach: -" well, already we've finished eating

And from there, if possible, walk fifteen, between five and fifteen minutes, walk to help the digestion process

We continue in the afternoon with our activity, our work and in the evening around six o'clock, we return to perform our meditation, which allows us to release fatigue accumulated of the day

It is recommended to meditate before dinner or at least, at a time that is not too close to bedtime, because meditation can activate our alert state of mind and can interfere with sleep

We should have a light dinner, the evening meal should be light, to allow that when we go to sleep, because the digestion is already done

To have dinner around seven o'clock at night is a very good time, because between seven and ten o'clock at night, we have three hours to digest

It is beneficial to do quiet activities at that time, we don't seek to activate our mind, maybe with a horror movie or with a very intense drama, because we also this kind of activities can interfere, with our sleep and with deep rest, so needed for repair our physiology

It is recommended already around ten, ten-thirty at night, to be in bed, with the lights off and ready to rest

Reduce the use of cell phones, from television in the room and if we are going to read before going to sleep, it is recommended that it is a reading, one reading quiet, one reading maybe, spiritual Or self-help, something that we induce, to help us to relaxation and to deep rest

Well, you can observe of all these advices, of all these recommendations, which one resonates with you and start little by little to put ourselves into practice, to establish healthy routines, that will benefit the balance and well-being, for you, for your environment
