Veremos la técnica de meditación Japa Mala. Japa significa en sánscrito murmurar, repetir, recitar y Mala collar o guirnalda. Los Malas son Rosarios de 108 cuentas utilizados en el budismo e hinduismo para rezar, orar o meditar en torno a un Mantra. Practicaremos esta técnica recitando el Maha Mantra: “Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare”. Este mantra dedicado a Krishna, el dios del amor, se recita ya sea cantado en voz alta en kirtan o bhajan, en voz baja o mentalmente. También veremos los beneficios de la práctica de Pranayamas o ejercicios de respiración (respiración consciente) y hablaremos de la importancia de ofrecer nuestra comida con amor y devoción a Dios.
