Ginger is a perennial plant that is cultivated in warm and humid areas. Its use in cooking and medicine is related to the consumption of the root. China and India have used it for thousands of years as the basis of their medicine. It was Marco Polo, in his trip to the East, who recovered it and now it is taken all over the world in many ways. The multiple properties of ginger cover a wide range of conditions, which can be greatly improved if we include it in our diet.
