When you are relaxed in your moment, it is time to look within, to go a little further by helping yourself with your breath. It is time to meditate through the water. Water purifies us, renews us, it is a source of life. Today we take the element of water for the following guided meditation activity. A visualization exercise where you will focus on the water cycle and enjoy it through your senses. We forget that the water cycle and the life cycle are the same. Now that you know, let yourself go.
For today's proposal you will need a quiet place where you can relax and a transparent crystal glass
filled with water
Hit pause and go get it now, because we're going to start the exercise
I want you to please sit with your back straight, feet flat on the floor and your hands resting on your legs
Observe the glass of clear water and cool
I want you to close your eyes and start concentrating on your breathing
Now visualize the top of a mountain
Icy, cold and still
Breathe slowly and begin to imagine that every time you let the air out of your nose, slowly, it comes out
hot and humid, melting the snow on that summit
That ice gradually turns into water that falls across the summit
the slopes of the mountain and ends up becoming a river
Accompany it down the mountain, smooth, crystalline, full of life
it goes through a humid and silent forest, but melodic at the same time, this river runs through a green and sunny valley
You are getting closer little by little to the sea, to the beach, accompany the waves of the sea with your breath, they come and go
You inhale and exhale, feel relaxed, watch that calm sea, the colors of a beautiful sunset reflecting golden tones in the water and little by little you look out to sea
And you notice how the heat evaporates that seawater, which rises to the sky with tiny shining droplets, until it forms a great cloud
You help the cloud move with your exhalation, you take a deep breath and release the air through your mouth, long and soft
Take a deep breath through your nose and release it through your mouth, blowing out that cloud
Imagine how it moves back to the cloud, crossing the beach, the green meadow, the forest and it's going to stop in the mountain
Watch closely as the cloud begins to release those tiny, shiny drops in the form of rain, they end up in the river again
In a cyclical way, it comes and goes again and again, it changes its shape, it changes its state, but it's still the same, at the end of the day
Water
It can be seen liquid, may look solid or it can look gaseous
But its essence, is and will always be the same
Open your eyes, contemplate for a few minutes your glass of water while you concentrate on your breathing
Now drink that glass with all your attention on the senses
What temperature is it when you pick up the glass? What does it look like, what does it taste like? What does drinking it make you feel? Taste and enjoy in small gulps this great gift of nature
Your body is made of it, connect and let its energy flood you
I hope you have enjoyed this experience and from now on become aware of the importance of this wonderful natural element that has been given to us
Happy present moment, until next time
