If any thought comes to mind, just let it pass. Refocus on the object. Today you will put your attention on the flame, in its movement, color, temperature, aroma. A really rewarding exercise.
Today you will need something very important, a candle
If you don't have the opportunity to use one you can look at the screen and perform the exercise with the one you will see on it
Okay, I want you to light your candle and put it in front of you
Sit comfortably, quietly and unhurriedly
I want you to put all your attention on the candle today
Just breathe relaxed and contemplate the flame
I want you to concentrate on it totally, on its colors, on its size, in the little fuse, their movements, its vibrations, observe if it flickers, the light it gives, the texture of the wax that surrounds it
Bring your face a little bit closer and watch if it responds to your breath with its movement
Now, bring your hands closer and feel its temperature
Contemplate the flame for a few seconds without thinking about anything, just focus on it
