The 12 principles of Zen wisdom

Live here live now

We spend the day traveling from the past to the future what happens is that we miss the only thing we really have the present We only have the present the past are memories that may not be accurate and the future is in our imagination

Zen practice and meditation are powerful allies to be in the present

Pay full attention to what you do

We go really fast from one thought to another with little or no awareness of them

We have to learn to focus, to pay more attention, and whatever we do we should focu on it

Accept yourself and love yourself as you are

Big changes start from within

In order to love others you have to love and accept yourself first

Be true to your feelings follow your heart, emotions are a guide to align actions and purposes in life

Follow your intuition fidelity and trust, to yourself, are the pillars of Zen philosophy

Pure behaviour For someone who practices Zen purity is essential, be impeccable with yourself, flawlessness of the body, speech And of mental behavior, we are a whole

You have to learn to let go

To walk the path of life our backpack should carry the essentials, if something hurts us or slows us down you have to let go, let it go or push it away

Peace of mind

The world is going at a speed that is not the most appropriate for human happiness we are forced to run, physically and mentally, at all times, violating our own nature

For Zen philosophy peace of mind is not to use verbal or physical violence, relax the mind, that will help to have a more peaceful life

Learn to flow

Life is a constant change, nothing is sure so our ability to adapt to changes is essential, flexibility and fluidity are basic to Zen

Follow your purpose in life

We must complete our mission, our vital purpose and understand how we are and which are our limits, have a destination, a goal helps us focus

Honesty

Be honest through self-knowledge, get to know yourself better to give yourself internal stability, Balance

Honesty is a value that opens doors, that allows us to create better relationships with others and with ourselves

Accept your responsibilities

Our environment

has to be taken into account when making decisions

A better universe is possible and raising the level of consciousness will make this world a peaceful place a happier place

Accept responsibility

Find inner peace you will be able to approach that state through the connection with your essence

We must tame our mind so that inner peace reigns in our life, inner peace of mind is up to us
