Was Jesus a notable rabbi?

Description

Jesus attracted the masses because of his great speech and healing abilities. Throughout the entire New Testament there are continuous testimonies in which people are amazed at the ease with which Jesus explained the scriptures to the people. The Pharisees of the time used the parable genre as a metaphor to explain something in a simple or poetic way so that it could be understood by the greatest number of people. Jesus' words are so timely and precise that we can conclude that he was a famous and illustrious rabbi.
