1 hour practice suitable for all levels. These are dynamic classes where we work gradually through a sequence of postures synchronized to the rhythm of the breath with a focus on body awareness, breathing and sensations.

At the end of the class we perform a relaxation and end with meditation. Not only do we do physical exercise, toning the muscles, making the spine more flexible, opening the hips, strengthening the joints, stretching the legs, improving balance and body posture. Yoga has effects on the mind and energy of the practitioner. At times we seek to hold certain postures in a firm but relaxed manner. Balance between tension and relaxation. Observing the mind, the thoughts/emotions that produce us to put the body in a certain way. Becoming aware of patterns, attitudes, behaviors that distract us and take away a lot of energy in the day to day. These movement and postural patterns contribute to create and perpetuate certain physical ailments (such as muscle contractures). Through practice we can re-educate our body and mind to feel lighter in our skin.
