Yin Yoga is a style derived from Hatha Yoga, in which postures are held passively for 2 to 5 minutes. It is a practice that focuses on stretching, stimulating and rejuvenating the deeper tissues, connective tissues: fascia, ligaments, tendons, joints and synovial fluid, as well as the energy channels or meridians that run through these tissues.
