We will practice the Pilates method on a mat. This technique focuses mainly on strength and stretching exercises through muscle contraction, focusing especially on the abdominal area. The aim is to improve flexibility, toning, mental concentration and even posture.
During the 1-hour sessions, the body itself is the main tool used, although balls, elastic bands or hoops are also incorporated to facilitate certain exercises or, alternatively, to add a level of challenge to the activity. In short, the focus is on developing flexibility, toning muscles, strengthening the mind and perfecting posture.
