We are deeply grounded at all levels of our being. It is now our turn to change our relationship with the earth and work to bring healing. The 4 vital elements of nature (Air, Water, Earth and Wind) come from its energy and give us the essential substance that allows us to live. There is a fifth element called spirit, which is present in all things and unifies and harmonizes all elements.
We are deeply connected to the earth, at all levels of our being
It is up to us now to change our relationship with the earth, work to bring healing
The four living elements in nature, water, air, earth, fire comes from its energy and gives us the essential substance in order to live
There is a fifth element called spirit present in all things, which unifies and harmonizes all elements
These 4 elements of nature are repeated in a similar way in various cultures such as pagan, Celtic, Hinduism or Taoism, and of course, in sorcery
Air is a light element, ethereal and gentle, symbolizes the thoughts, ideas, creativity and dreams of the human mind, encompassing intelligence, memory and reasoning ability
It is also related to communication and to the verb, the art of oratory, singing and singing
or teaching are clear examples, after all the voice is nothing but air in motion
The person who is connected with the air desires to know and to experience the world, has a curious and broad mind, is represented in the figure of the scientist, the genius, the philosopher, or the idealist
The excess of air leads us to live in an excessively mental plane, losing the connection with the material world
or reality
The most extreme imbalance manifests itself in the form of psychological disorder or dementia
In the context of magic it would manifest itself through the sylphs and fairies of Eastern Europe
Water is fluid, changing, dense, vulnerable, also the material
Water represents the sensory, the sensual
It symbolizes and governs emotions and feelings such as love
and friendship
It is also related to intuition, hunches and instinct
If there is a verb that defines this element, it is to feel, is the rebirth, the movement and contains the essence of the continuous renewal from the sensory experience
It is present in the seas, lakes, rivers of the world and in the human body, therefore, we are enormously sensitive to their changing qualities
Water zodiac signs or people who feel a deep connection with this element, are governed by creativity, the influence of esotericism, music, creativity and the expressiveness of movement such as dance, all of them natural forms of expression of human beings since ancient times
The one who blesses the water gives it a value and an energetic charge
that will vary according to the mood of the person or entity that applies it
In magic it would be manifested through the ondines or the naiads of western Europe
The earth
It is the most physical, tangible and dense element
It is related to survival, material goods, work, perseverance, slowness and strength
It is the element that provides stability and anchorage to the human psyche
The stimuli associated with the Earth are the five primary senses: smell, touch, taste recognition, see and hear
To love the earth is a feeling rooted in the heart of man, a primary and deep instinct
that nestles in our psyche since we have been in this world
Earthly individuals have a slow tempo, like the cycles of the seasons
They are practical and conservative-minded people they take their time to make decisions, they have fixed habits and their energy for work is infinite
The excess of this element leads us to the darkest part of the earthly, excess of material ambition, attachment and greed
In the magical iconography, the gnomes and the dwarfs of the Nordic countries are the archetype that rules the earth
Fire symbolizes the energy of health, strength, the ability to accomplish goals and endurance
It is a difficult element to govern, active and fast
which possesses the virtue of purifying
Fire is thoughtless, it is connected to impulse, to will and sometimes to uncontrol
It is at the same time transforming, transforms water into steam, wood into ash, solid into liquid, the same effect it has on the human psyche
The inner fire helps us to take impulse to change things or to finish with the old to create new patterns, is pure renewal
Qualities such as desire, leadership, innovation, freedom, the concept of eternity and mutation are part of this element
The excess of it translates into anger, lack of control, mental dispersion, people who constantly change ideas or projects, impatience, intolerance and aggressiveness
Smoke has been used to summon these energies
or the bonfire in their magical rites, manifested in the salamander in the south of Europe and has been associated with hell in Christian culture
Seasons have been exalted by all cultures throughout history
If we make an anthropological tour we will find innumerable expressions of the celebration of each new period of the year
As an intrinsic part of the human identity and the deep relationship that exists between us and the rhythms of the earth
The climatic phenomena have played a role of major forces associated with the gods and the concept of magic in various cibilizations, the power of the sun, the mystery of the moon, the wrath of the thunder or the vendetta of the tempest, left no doubt of the supremacy of these forces and their goodness, cholera or whims
Ceremonies linked to nature and the most significant seasonal changes, were progressively transformed into celebrations adapting to each time and culture, modifying their norms and codes until arriving to our days
An example is the celebration of the night of San Juan, which is still considered a magical night
and preserves some rituals for love, change or wealth
Themes that are repeated over and over again
over the centuries
It must be taken into account that the scenario of the past was nothing like that of the past
to the technological world in which we live
Primitive astronomy was based on the observation of the sky and time as a reference
On the other hand, one of the great objectives of magic has been to dominate the elements of nature and use them in favor of man
This gives rise to the magical behavior that responded to the fluidity of the life of the seasons, the harvests of the cycles or the fecundity
The truth is that nature in all its vital expressions is pure magic
To observe the birth of a plant, the transformation of the storm into sun or to listen to the song of the wind, it seems to make sense that our ancestors wanted to make those powers and energies theirs, as a vital attitude
that gained order and rhythm through the changing of the seasons
Our ancestors always recognized the soul of the earth and they knew to have a positive relationship with nature, is conducive to mental health and emotional health
They are now rediscovered strong relationships between the electromagnetic fields of the human heart and the earth
When these fields resonate at the same frequency, biophilia occurs, a love for all living organisms and that is the religion that I process
