Introduction to Tantra 2

Description     More info

Second part of the series of Knowledge about tantra in which the expert in Tantra Kaula, Anand Rudra introduces us to the tantric universe through his wisdom.

The meaning of Kaula comes from the sanskrit word kula, which is school or family

Formerly the way the community transmitted knowledge was through a school

Let´s say rural style, in which a group of families, a group of

of towns, went to gurukula

The guru was the teacher and the kula was the family, back then everybody used to attend to a series of talks to find what the tantra method was and the method of knowledge

From the practice of gurukula, different methodologies began to manifest in lndia such as Ayurveda, Hinduism, how is hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism as well

Kaula is one of the ancient schools ancient which is not linked to tantric lineage or lineage of knowledge, it is a very magical school because every knowledge is given

It is about a presence in space and time that is generated within the being

It is really pretty that each of us through of these kaula techniques discover inner mastery

You can also develop yourself everything that is a Tantra methodology a Tantra methodology within a basic need, primary You can also develop your internal mastery about everything that all that is represent the tantric method

From a very primitive practice the practice until the highest practice of superconsciousness

Prana is the vital energy that we find outside and inside our body

Some civilizations call it Ki or Chi, and Prana is the vital energy that circulates internally within the body

How can we distinguish normal energy from Prana? For example the breathing we do daily is prana, the food you make and you eat is also Prana, water is Prana

It is what feeds you both the being and the physical body

Prana runs through everything that is the internal space of our body through energy system which we have and that it was discovered in the past

We can locate within our body this system through meridians that we call him nadis, energy vortices also known as chakras then we have the interconnection of these nadis, they are called marmas

There are other energy lines, seduction centers, that are called talas

All these elements create the energetic system that the human being has and is where Prana circulates

The Kaula Tantra manifests through 5 disciplines, one is yoga, another is the breath that is

called pranayamas which is art and control of breathing, then we have meditation, ritualism and sacred sexuality

The first aspect of Pranayamas is really easy to locate within the Tantra system

Everything about the nervous system is controlled through the breathing

If you are able to control your breathing when you eat, the you can control the blood pumping all that is the

the blood pumping from the heart for example to your gender

But you can also expand your sexual energy through breathing and create an orgasm

It is not only on a sexual level that you can interrelate with breathing, but also with meditation

If you slow down the breath inside your body you can reach a deep state of meditation In kaulas we have meditative pranayamas that help to be able to interconnect with your being

Prana is really a tool within Tantra to be able to expand, to be able to meditate, to be able to have sex, to be able to expand consciousness and really is the vital tool within Tantra

We also have meditation, in 2 branches: an active meditation and another static meditation

When you dance when you have sex you can be in a meditative process without becoming what currently is known as meditation

You can be really connected with your being through a dance for example, but you also have non static meditation which is divided into two aspects: one where you stop thinking and you give an interface of not knowing and to be only present and aware and you give your brain a break, as we say, which allows you to be in essence

Then you have the focus of your thoughts

In kaula tantra we use this a lot and the aspect of this type of meditation, is to carry the energy through thought either to your body or to other bodies

It is to focus your thoughts as energy

The third tool is yoga, we usually we think about yoga think about yoga in modern schools like hatha yes

or as ashtanga, but yoga inside the kaula school allows you to incorporate all the energetic processes to your body, it also allows you to generate energy, it allows you to unlock things within your body, but it also allows you to accelerate things within the body

Yoga in kaula is a tool to work with your body I work with your body in three dimensions: physical appearance, the energetic aspect and the spiritual aspect

The other aspect is ritualism

In kaula ritualism can go from a very simple aspect such as brushing your teeth, when you are in front of the mirror and you are looking at yourself and you are brushing your teeth, you can make a ritual of it

When you are with your partner and you begin an intimate approach, you can create a ritual of it

Rituality allows to generate an energy within yourself, within a space or with other people

In kaula we use the rite to be able to interconnect with the three dimensions of the body

And then we have sacred sexuality

In kaula we have two aspects: in kaula we have two aspects: First the intimate space that you create with your partner not only to interconnect with you but be one and merge with your partner and achieve unity of the cosmos

That is something nice and this process we call it maithuna

Maithuna is the sacred sexual union of the couple and it is used through the sacred sexuality

The other side of the kaula which is the most unknown aspects in Tantra It is the use of sexual energy in order to heal the body

Kaula is one of the practices that uses sexuality in order to reach a psycho-emotional healing, psychosexual, including frigidity, issues of anorgasmia, premature ejaculation, some soma that we have or some circumstance that does not allow us to have a full sexuality with ourselves

Kaula interconnects this 5 tools and these tools are interconnected to itself, when you do meditation you don´t stop doing yoga, you don´t stop doing pranayama, you don´t stop doing sacred sexuality

When you do sacred sexuality, you don´t stop doing yoga, you don´t stop doing meditation, or you stop doing pranayama

All these tools are interconnected to each other and that is the aspect and that is the special aspect that kaula has

The ritual allows us interconnect with ourselves but also create an interconnection with superconsciousness in a much faster way

You can do any practice for a ritual, a sacred act

A rite is an act with an intention

So if you in daily life you go and run in the mornings and you make a rite of this, the energy that you can generate, the awareness and presence that you can develop from this ephemeral practice such as running, can take you to interconnect with the superconscious in a much more effective way

Rituality is in the daily life of ourselves and Tantra takes you to a sacred space, to a superconsciousness space already a space of superconsciousness that allows you to interconnect in a that allows you to interconnect in full with yourself and with others

The ritual can go from the conscious and from the subconscious, ritual can awaken in you something magical in you yes

from breaking all ego systems break with everything that is the system of egos that the being has and show yourself how you really are

It can unlock things that we have trapped there, within our own being and from our own mind

Generally when we cannot incorporate some trauma since we are born, an aspect of rituality can lead you to unlock some soma that we have hidden there from the unconscious

Not knowing that really, for example, when you were 2 years old, maybe something happened to you and a ritual can really unlock things that are there and that we do not understand and do not let us be as we are

At the Ayurvedic level, more than 720,000 energy channels have been found

For Tantra we have about 14 nadis that are the most essential and at a simpler level we have 3 energy channels

We have the meridians called nadis

These are lines that carry all the energy in the human body

Apart from the nadis we have the chakra system, they are energetic vortices which are along the spinal column

There are some theories that say we have 25 chakras

At a much simpler level we are going to count 7 chakras that are along the spine and an eighth that is hidden

The Sushumna channel which is your spine has internally three channels: One that is the chindrin and another that is the inner nadi that leads the silver thread which is your soul and that it is located right in the middle of the spinal column

They are conjoined with two other nadis which is Ida and Pingala

Ida is on our left side and Pingala is on our right one

Ida controls all the situation of the feminine, Pingala controls the whole male situation

What I mean with the feminine and the masculine is the polarity of the human being not gender, not sexual either to the sexual

The feminine is the emotional, is the feeling, what is to the feeling, feminine is

the situation to receive, the feminine is about being connected to spirituality

The masculine is the logical, it´s the action, it´s the pragmatic, it´s the aspect of giving yourself with the rest and both are always conjugating within the body, that is why it is very important within Tanta that the energy system is in balance

These meridians help Prana and vital energy can interconnect us more with our masculine and feminine

The first chakra we have is Muladhara also known as the root chakra and it is linked to our origin, this is where the first two cells that gave rise to you as a human are located

It is the chakra that connects us to survival, it also connects you with the power of being of yourself, towards yourself and towards others

It is the first chakra that responds to any sensation, feeling or reasoning of fear or reasoning of freedom too, but it also connects us, but it also connects ourselves to pleasure

The second chakra is Svadhisthana and connects to our endocrine system on a sexual level with our reproductive system and it is the chakra that allows us to expand, allows us to have imagination, it connects us with the sexual and with the virtue of freedom

Then we have the third chakra that is located in the stomach and it´s called Manipura

It is the chakra that connects the basics, the dense with Anahata or with the spiritual, it allows us yes

expand and connect with anything primitive with anything of love

Then we have the fourth chakra which is Anahata and Anahata is about emotions, about love, but it also connects us with the strongest shell that the human being has, which is freedom, the capacity to break with schematics

Anahata is usually linked to love but Anahata is really a chakra that allows us break down the physical body on an emotional level and at the level of sensations

Then we have Vishuddha which is in the throat, Vishuddha is the communication chakra, it interconnects us with the question of thought

To express everything internally express everything intimate but also express ourselves

Vishuddha when well achieved and released is a tool that allows us to interconnect with the great mastery

After having worked with the other chakras

Then we have the Ajna, which is the sixth chakra and it is located in front of

between the eyebrows

Ajna allows us to link to everything beyond the senses we have it allows us to connect with the sixth sense with what goes beyond the supra nature and more than anything it interconnects with that you thought you already knew and that is there that I already knew it and that it is there, It is the one that gives you de facto knowledge

It is the one that gives you de facto knowledge

When you have worked the first 5 chakras, sixth allows you to be interconnected with inner mastery and allows you expand as a human being, we really link it to the supranatura but it is the one that allows the intellect to go beyond itself and it creates that intelligence

The last is Sahasrara chakra, Sahasrara links us to the spiritual and links us to the universal

Once you have worked the other 6 chakras It allows to be in a very high vibration level of being human, allows us to interconnect with the other chakras at any time we want

Chakras are intimately linked to the metabolic system of the human being when you have a psycho-emotional problem you are automatically linked to the chakras on a physical level and at an energy level

That is why Tantra not only goes to aspects of character but Tantra can go through the energy system so you can heal yourself

Apart from the chakras we have the marmas, where the nadis are interconnected

Every marma is interconnected to energy lines that allow us to unlock certain things

Let´s say if you want to control an erection you can go to a marma and from the marma control your erection

Marmas do not only control energy within the human body but they can also activate it

If you in any case, for example have had any situation of frigidity, of frigidity, we can go to marmas that are inside the body and change the pattern a bit between the mental question and the sexual one, only through activating a certain marma

There are some marmas like the Ki point that can control all the vital energy of the human being only through touching there

You can give an orgasm to a person just by massaging them in this marma

Marmas, although they are tiny, can bear large fruits within the tantric system

After the marmas we have the talas, which are a series of points within the body that make a distribution of the pranic energy of the body, and also the erotic and sexual energy A good stimulation of the talas can lead women to a Shakti to an orgasm It can lead men to unblock frustrated wishes and we can manifest sexual energy without actually touching genitals inside the talas

Helping us to bond yes

to all nadis system and all marmas system in a slightly different way

It is a technique that has been passed from mouth to mouth but in it was written within agamic books back then

The agamic books are a compendium like the Vedas in which the secret and mystical knowledge of what is Tantra are written

It must be remembered that Tantra was persecuted within a time when Hinduism took part in politics and societal within India

Well, tantric knowledge had to relegate and so that it could be known they started to write it within these agamic books

The science of kaula has been passed down to modern time through those agamic books which are there and all these techniques, all these rituals are written and both the government of India and some others institutions, have begun to reveal this knowledge and

well

They make Kaula a science which is completely new and dynamic for what Tantra is

In Germany currently there are some institutions that have this knowledge and are developing it at a much more pragmatic level, much more dynamic and according to our time

And part of the Kaula Tantra that is brewing in Europe comes from there

If you go to India you will find some other aspects of kaula which are modern and it has nothing to do with the kaula that we are seeing in this series of videos

Oh well

It is part of the evolution processes of any method, technique or belief system

It is very important to know watch them what kind of Tantra are you learning, where it comes from and how it has developed and make sure that it is good for you

in every aspect regardless of the methodology or of the school
