In volume 11 of The Osho Collection, the contemporary mystic shares an invaluable reflection on one of the feelings that cause us the most suffering: jealousy. According to Osho, the process of generating jealousy is based on an automatism that society has instilled in us from a very young age, that is, the need to continually compare ourselves with others. However, says Osho, if we were to start to truly believe that each person is unique and different, we would see that the pretense of comparing ourselves is simply absurd, as would be the feeling of jealousy.
