How do emotions affect our health?

You may think that your health is not intimately linked to your emotions, but the truth is that it is, and very much so.

In the following post we explain the relationship between "emotions and health" and how our program "Open to emotions" will help you to feel better, to be calmer, to flow in every moment.

Everything we experience throughout our lives generates positive or negative feelings and this has an effect on us. A simple problem or worry brings with it an emotion that takes us away from fullness and makes us live in a more limited way.

At the organic level everything tends to close getting that the organs do not enjoy the space and good functioning they need.

With the asana work that we propose you will reduce that armor that presses you and get to release your muscles and joints, as well as other physical structures that surround this area.

You need to experience physical freedom through your body to regain mental and emotional stability. Understanding the problem is key for the program we offer to open the door to a state of full emotional well-being.

What is the intention of the work I propose?

In the program "Opening to the emotions" you will find postures, exercises, breathing practices (pranayama) and meditation that are linked and carefully chosen to work the area of the upper body as well as the lower body. Designed to reach the balance and emotional unblocking you need.

It is essential to feel, move, stretch, open these parts of the body to generate enough space and begin to feel the benefits as far as the mobilization of the breath is concerned.

Awakening the muscles, joints, organs, tendons improves blood circulation and makes you free, relax and focus your mind.

When working the diaphragm, shoulders, shoulder blades we unblock accumulated tensions. Accessing spaces that generally, without the practice of yoga, you would not reach.

What is the result of this program in your person?

  • You will achieve a wide, deep, calm breathing.
  • You will feel a sense of calm, tranquility and space that will undoubtedly make you feel better.
  • Pelvis, lumbar and hip, areas very sensitive to contracture due to accumulated internal tension, will feel lighter.

The mobility of the body is undoubtedly one of the most important things you should feel to achieve fluidity. With movement you can unblock and release all parts of the body feeling fullness during and after your practice.

Just as important as the movement is to feel connected to the emotions of well-being, joy and enjoyment. This will leave an indelible emotional imprint on your being.

Pranayama, breathing, is the most subtle part of yoga. A powerful routine to connect with the deepest part of your inner self.

All this may sound far away but trust us, when you reach this state we want to take you to, you will know what we are talking about. Be generous and allow yourself the time and space you need to FLOW.

The emotional attitude towards the observation of the breath is very important. The accompaniment should be soft, delicate and conscious.

Finally, we come to meditation, a moment of awareness where you can observe your mind in an empty space, bringing you closer to stability and pure relaxation.

Do not forget to take care of your diet, a fundamental part to feel strong and vital. To keep your body in good condition and fully functional you must maintain a diet that incorporates the necessary vitamins and nutrients.

Consume seasonal products, organic if possible, and drink plenty of water to keep your body free of toxins and strengthen your immune system. An incorrect diet favors toxic thoughts and emotions.

Eat calmly, conscious of each bite, it is the only way you will be able to assimilate all the nutrients and direct the nervous system towards relaxation and balance.

We hope you enjoy the program "Open to emotions" led by our teacher Silvia Jaén. From September you will be able to download the Conscious Television App.

Namaste.
