Coinciding with the day of love par excellence, the ONGD Amavida organizes a solidarity yoga masterclass in which invites to participate all those yoga lovers who want to fight for a better world, if you can not attend in person you can live it in streaming thanks to the collaboration of Conscious Television, the first channel of online videos in Spanish with content dedicated exclusively to the development of a healthy and conscious life.

The event will take place in Madrid on Sunday, February 14th at the premises of "Yoga 14 Studio" located at 225 Príncipe de Vergara St. It will start at ten in the morning and will end around two o'clock in the afternoon. The cost of the entrance will be donated entirely to the projects that Amavida carries out in Calcutta and Nepal.

Helping costs very little and even more when you can do it from your own home, you just need an internet connection and a device from which you can access our website. On the platform you can view the yoga master class led by Silvia Jaén and, in addition to enjoying a solidarity session, Televisión Consciente will donate one euro for each free registration to watch the streaming.

Amavida is an NGDO working in India, in the city of Calcutta. Its mission is to fight for better living conditions for children and women, the most disadvantaged in Indian society. More than 20% of the world's population is concentrated in India, a country of more than 1.2 billion people, where 330 million inhabitants live below the poverty line. India has more than twice as many illiterate people as sub-Saharan Africa and one third of children under the age of 16 are engaged in child labor.

"From Conscious Television we wanted to support the project because we think it is vital to spread it to as many people as possible. Raising awareness is everyone's job and what better way to spread love to others on Valentine's Day," says Alvaro Alonso, spokesman for Conscious Television. "For every free registration we receive to watch the streaming, Televisión Consciente will donate one euro to Amavida", adds Álvaro Alonso.

Yoga and solidarity go hand in hand, Silvia Jaén , yoga teacher trainer for 15 years, notes "I think the sensitivity that brings you the practice of yoga and compassion that generates towards certain situations, is ideal to realize what you can help. Yoga generates a lot of awareness of ourselves and others".

"We unite yoga with the NGO because this discipline was born in India, a country with which we are particularly involved. In addition to all the physical and psychological benefits of practicing yoga, Ana Villanueva, founder of the NGO, is a yoga teacher. From Amavida we try to instill in our students the importance of yoga and meditation," says Alicia Vidal Sinde, a collaborator in Amavida.

"I got to know the Amavida project through my friend Alicia Vidal Sinde, who has been collaborating with them for a long time. She passed on to me the passion with which she helps and works for the NGO and that led me to take action. I have traveled three times to India and I have been able to see the situation that women and children live there. India moves me a lot and it seems to me an ideal time in my life to do my bit, "says Silvia Jaén, teacher who will teach the yoga master class.

In addition to the yoga master class, at the event you can relax with Tibetan singing bowls, let yourself be carried away by the rhythm of Bollywood, buy at fair prices products imported from Nepal and made in India and discover the whole project that Amanvida carries out in these countries.
