For the first time ever, the World Ufology Congress is honoured to present the great Abraham "Avi" Loeb, one of the leading American theoretical physicists specialising in astrophysics and cosmology of our current generation.
Since 1 July 2012, he has held the Frank B. Baird Jr. Chair of Science at Harvard University. He has been head of the Harvard Astronomy Department since 2011; since 2016 he has been chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Breakthrough Starshot project (which aims to launch very light, sail-shaped spacecraft to the nearest stars using a powerful laser to propel them) and founder of the Harvard Black Hole Initiative (the world's first interdisciplinary centre dedicated to the study of black holes). Since 2007 he has also been director of the Institute for Theory and Computation (ITC) at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
These first confirmations are only the beginning of the event of the memorable V edition in 2021, which will bring together for the first time in the history of mankind the most renowned cutting-edge researchers from the 5 continents and will position The Ufology World Congress as the most important UFO event worldwide.
